About Gunther Insecticide

Gunther Insecticide is a UPL product containing Novaluron 5.25% + Emamectin Benzoate 0.9% w/w SC. It is a contact and strong stomach poison.

Gunther Insecticide is recommended in cabbage, chilli, red gram, rice, brinjal, chickpea and maize crops. It helps control pests such as diamond back moth, tobacco caterpillar, gram pod borer, stem borer, shoot and fruit borer, pod borer and fall armyworm.

  • Mode of Entry: Contact and stomach action
  • Mode of Action: Gunther Insecticide works through contact and strong stomach poison. It is an IGR- Chitin synthesis inhibitor there by disrupting the life cycle of insects and activating chloride channels and then paralyze the insects.
  • Time of Application: Apply when the pest population crosses the Economic Threshold Level (ETL).

  • Method of Application

Foliar Spray: Take the measured quantity of Gunther Insecticide and mix it with a small quantity of water. Stir well, then add the remaining required water and spray uniformly. Foliar application using a knapsack sprayer and hollow cone nozzle.

  • Best Time to Spray

Apply Gunther Insecticide at the vegetative stage and at the time of incidence of the pests above economic threshold level (ETL). Do not spray during windy weather, hot hours of the day, when foliage is wet, or when rain is expected. 3 sprays are required at an interval of 10 days depending upon the pest infestation.

Storage
