Kresoxim-methyl 44.3% w/w SC
Product Specifications
Mode of Entry: Systemic action
Mode of Action: Ergon contains Kresoxim-methyl, a Quinone Outside Inhibitor (QoI) fungicide belonging to the strobilurin group. It inhibits fungal respiration by interfering with mitochondrial electron transport, restricting fungal energy production, and further disease development. The product provides systemic activity along with meso-stemic, translaminar and vapour action, helping protect the crop from fungal infection.
Time of Application: For better disease management, apply at the early stage of disease development or when disease incidence is observed.
Key Features and Benefits
- Broad spectrum disease control: Ergon controls a wide range of fungal diseases including blast, sheath blight, powdery mildew, downy mildew, fruit rot, die back, twig blight, rust, leaf spot, grey mildew and leaf blight.
- Protective and curative activity: Ergon provides preventive and curative disease management by restricting fungal development.
- Long duration disease control: Ergon provides longer duration disease control.
- Phytotonic effect: Ergon influences physiological processes such as hormone levels, chlorophyll content, photosynthesis, and nitrate reduction.
- Improves crop quality and yield: Ergon enhances quality and yield.
- Resistance management support: Its QoI mode of action provides a different fungicide group for disease management programmes.
- Compatibility: Ergon is compatible with commonly used insecticides and fungicides.
