Sometimes all you need is a little hug of warmth, and nothing wraps around you quite like a crescent-shaped shawl. The Susurrous Shawl, designed by Anne-Michelle Phelan, offers the perfect cosy embrace with a wonderfully textured knit.

This beautiful shawl is worked by holding Townhouse Yarns Clarendon Sock and Abbey Lace together for a soft, fluffy fabric that feels as good as it looks. Starting with an easy brioche repeat, the design moves into a more intricate section featuring twisted stitches, lace, and bobbles- before finishing with relaxing garter stitch rows and a delicate picot bind-off. The lace motif, inspired by maple seeds falling from trees, adds a charming natural touch.

Your kit includes:

• A printed copy of the Susurrous Shawl pattern
• 2 skeins of Clarendon Sock and 2 skeins of Abbey Lace in your chosen colourway

Also required but not included:

• 4.5mm circular needle (100cm or longer)
• 5mm needle for bind-off
• 4.5mm crochet hook for bobbles
• Tapestry needle
• Stitch markers
• Blocking pins

• This kit uses a mix of brioche, lace, twisted stitches, and bobbles for plenty of knitting interest.
