Galileo Sensa Fungicide Technical Name

Picoxystrobin 6.78% + Tricyclazole 20.33% w/w SC

Product Specifications

  • Mode of Entry: Systemic and translaminar movement
  • Mode of Action: Galileo Sensa combines Picoxystrobin and Tricyclazole. Picoxystrobin is a strobilurin fungicide that inhibits mitochondrial respiration by blocking electron transfer, which disrupts the energy cycle in fungi. Tricyclazole inhibits melanin formation in fungi and prevents fungal spores from penetrating and establishing infection inside the plant. Together, these actions help control labelled fungal diseases when used as per recommendation.
  • Time of Application: Apply as per crop and disease recommendation. It can be applied both preventively and curatively.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Effective Against: Leaf blast, neck blast, panicle blast, stem blast, powdery mildew, wet rot and anthracnose.
  • Dual Mode of Action: Combination of Picoxystrobin and Tricyclazole helps control diseases through two different modes of action.
  • Systemic and Translaminar Movement: The product has systemic and translaminar movement, diffusion in the wax layer, and redistribution properties.
