Cat. #0019862: PEGGY PARISH

Highly rare hardcover copy of Amelia Bedelia Helps Out, boldly signed and inscribed on the blank front page. In good condition, with some wear to the cover and a minor crack to the lower area of the spine. Beloved children's book author Peggy Parish created Amelia Bedelia, the maid whose tendency to take idiomatic expressions literally led to many a crisis, despite her always kind intentions. She died at 61 and her autograph is extremely elusive in any format.
