Cat. #000462221: ANNE BAXTER

Uncommonly early inscribed green fountain pen signature on a 4x6-inch light blue autograph album page, acquired in-person at the very onset of her career, in the late 1940s. In good condition. Glamorous leading lady Anne Baxter, who so excelled at playing sultry, scheming vamps, won an Academy Award for her performance in The Razor's Edge (1946) and was nominated again for All About Eve (1950). Her long list of other memorable credits include Charley's Aunt (1941), The Magnificent Ambersons (1942), A Royal Scandal (1945), I Confess (1953), and The Ten Commandments (1956). She died of a brain aneurysm at the age of 62.
